The Kindergartners had been talking about shapes the past two weeks. They cut, glued, molded, drew, painted, and traced different shapes. They made kites, castles, crowns, purses, and flowers out of cut-out shapes.

The highlight of their Shapes exploration was the Shape Walk. The children and teachers went out for a walk in the streets and looked around for shapes. They saw shapes in windows, buildings, bicycles, benches, tiles, traffic lights, and in everything and everywhere.

The world is indeed made-up of shapes!
